| I noticed something quirky that ends up making sense (from what I can tell). My 530bb were installed (by me) with too low of preload on the wastegates. I set them up to crack at 9 psi and be fully open at 14-15 psi. I thought my boost controller would keep them shut regardless since the solenoid wouldn't "send" that psi to them. Alas, I realized when Greg and Seb came to dyno my car that the pressure was forcing them open irrespective of my boost controller. Fast forward a long long time, and during my most recent track event at TWS I noticed something rather interesting. On the long front straight going about 125 w/ WOT, I saw my boost actually creep up to 18-20 psi. My guess is that only then, when I was going that fast and pulling that much air into the engine, despite the wastegates being 100% open, was the turbo STILL generating more pressure than the WGs could release.
